Captain Planet’s ‘Akpeteshie’ Song To Be Banned

The Food and Drugs Authority in Ghana is set to place a ban on the newly released song ‘Akpeteshie’ by Captain Planet of 4×4 group.
Akpeteshie’, is a local drink produced in Ghana by palm wine tappers with a refined palm wine or sugar cane.
Frankly speaking, the local drink which goes by many names such as VC10, and apio is the national spirit of Ghana and is not professionally bottled or sealed, but instead poured into unlabeled used bottles.
It was recently reported that Captain Planet was set to release a song titled ‘Akpeteshie’ on 20th January 2018 but couldn’t confirm whether he was going to promote the use of ‘Akpeteshie’ in the song or advice people to be careful of over drinking the most popular drink.
However, an information from a close source indicates vigorously that, Captain Planet aims at promoting the excessive intake of ‘Akpeteshie’ since it is a locally made drink rather than warning people on the need to drink it responsibly.

Well, in an exclusive interview on the case concerning the fate of the music with regards to the lyrical content, a representative from the Foods and Drugs Authority (FDA), explained that. Though Captain Planet is again going Solo with “Akpeteshie”, he is still the leader of celebrated Hip-life/Hip-pop group; 4X4.
